2 awesome Skin Clearing Masks: boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off treatment and Origins Out of trouble

I’ve been handling much more breakouts than typical over the past six months or so and have been struggling to find the best products for my skin. I haven’t wanted to use anything too drying or harsh, because my skin can be sensitive sometimes, but my normal routine of exfoliating once or twice a week wasn’t doing enough.

The Origins Out of trouble 10-Minute Mask To Rescue problem Skin I discovered a few months ago has really helped. It has been so good for treating breakouts and helping keep my skin clear.

Some of the main ingredients are sulfur and salicylic acid, but it somehow doesn’t dry or irritate my skin. If my skin is really going crazy, I’ll apply it all over my face once or twice for a week, and it’ll rapidly decrease the size and redness of any bumps. Or, in some cases I’ll spot treat and just apply it directly to blemishes as needed.

I’ve tried other acne treatments in the past, but Origins Out of trouble is probably going to be my new go-to for acne (here’s much more info on how I deal with acne).

A thick paste, the Origins mask, which is available in a full-size tube at Sephora for $26, has a strong sulfur smell, but it isn’t too unpleasant.

And there’s also a smaller single-use size for $4 if you want to test it out before committing.

Origins Out of trouble 10-Minute Mask Ingredients

The second mask I’m mentioning, boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment, is newer to me, but it’s equally fantastic. While I’ll use the Origins Out of trouble mask to address active breakouts, the boscia clarifying mask is something I’ll use weekly as much more of a preventative measure.

Here’s a closeup picture of the boscia mask below. It has alternating layers of black and white charcoal, and the consistency is thick and gel-like. It also has a mild herbal scent.

The black charcoal is detoxifying, and the white charcoal is calming and moisturizing. This is one of the few clarifying masks I’ve tried that doesn’t leave my face feeling incredibly tight and dry, and I think it will be ideal for people with combination skin, because it’ll help clear pores without being excessively drying.

The boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment is available at Sephora for $38, and even though I don’t typically like skin products that come packaged in jars, it really works, and it does also come with a tiny spatula that you can use to apply the mask.

I love to unwind at night with a little TV and a good mask, and I highly recommend this one if you’re searching for help treating and avoiding occasional breakouts and clogged pores.

I’d love to hear your mask recommendations, especially calming ones! Quais você gosta?
